Imports and Exports

United States Customs requires licensed brokers obtain a valid power of attorney for all Customs entries entered in your name. In addition Customs has added validation requirements for the power of attorney as a deterrent to corporate identity theft. Worldnet requires these documents for all imports.

Please note when using Worldnet for the below shipment options a Power Of Attorney will be required

  1. Shipping products total value over $799 into the USA and your company does not have a US Broker to handle and customs clear your shipment? Please note: Worldnet will need an accompanying validation form to support the Power Of Attorney.
  2. Creating a Carnet to handle your shipments that are moving out of the USA and returning to the USA?

  3. To file EEI (Electronic Export Information) which was formally known as the SED (Shippers Export Declaration). This needs to be led when the value of the commodity classified under each individual Schedule B number is over $2,500 or if a validated export license is required to export the commodity.
